Don't worry, I don't actually look at your website at the beach

Book a website audit and stop second-guessing your copy

Sometimes, when your website copy has existed for a while, it’s like your vision starts to blur when you look at it.

You start wondering if it’s clear or cringe…

Does it make sense? Is it too generic? Is it convincing—or a load of crap? Do your headlines work? Should you add a section or take some away?

Maybe you know it could be improved somehow, but you’re not sure how to do so or where to start.

That’s where a website audit comes in.

A website audit gives you a professional set of eyes on your site—without the investment of a full website copy project

You’ll get a thorough run-down of what your website copy needs, actionable tips, and a plan for tackling them.

Whether you’re DIYing or you’re trying to decide if you need to hire someone, it’ll set you on the right track.

What’s included

  • Thorough video review of up to 6 pages of your website (front-end only)

  • Tips to improve your copy, buttons, navigation menu, and/or page structure

  • A rundown on links, pages, SEO essentials, or formatting that aren’t working properly

  • Written summary of your tips and next steps in order of priority

  • Support via email or Instagram voice notes for follow-up questions (must be used within one month)

In other words, I don’t just read your copy

I consider the user experience*, conversion strategies, your message, voice, formatting, and SEO* essentials. You’ll walk away knowing what you should tackle and insight on how to do so.

*NOTE: I can’t go into nearly everything related to SEO or user experience with a front-end audit. We need much more data than that. But you’ll get clearer on whether or not you should investigate those things via Google Analytics etc.

How it works

1. Reach out here to tell me you’d like an audit

2. I’ll email you with the next steps and an invoice to lock it in

3. Wait for the advice to show up in your inbox!

4. I’m available to answer questions via email (or IG voice notes) for a month afterwards

By the way, if you end up booking me for a website copy project later, I’ll take the cost of your audit off

That means this is also a great way to test the waters if you’re thinking about working together. :)

Here’s when an

audit is a good call 👇

  • You DIY’d your website copy and/or design, and you want a professional set of eyes on it so you know how to improve it

  • You’re a designer, and you have a client who’s DIY’d their copy and you want to make sure it’s as strong as possible before you start your work

  • You're a copywriter who’s been staring at their own copy for far too long (been there!)

  • You’re not sure if your message is clear, confusing, or cliche

  • Your site is getting views but not many leads and you want some help problem-solving

  • You’re thinking about hiring me for your website copy

“Do you re-write my copy?”

No, that’ll cost ya extra ;)

Sometimes I’m able to give you a specific suggestion or a headline alternative here and there. But the writing process is much different from the auditing process.

I do identify how your copy could be improved and give you guidance on how to improve it. That involves prompts to consider, copywriting techniques to try, and a rundown of the criteria you want your copy to hit.
